The City of Hawthorne organized a Community Clean Up Day which was held on Saturday November 13, 2021 from 8am - 3pm.

The command center was at Betty Ainsworth Center at 3851 El Segundo Blvd.

Council Members Angie English, Alex Monteiro and David Patterson were present and worked along with volunteers.

Volunteers included; community residents, Leuzinger High School women's basketball team, SpaceX staff and Public Works staff.

Ewaste, oversized trash and refuse was disposed of by Republic Services, Martinez Landscaping and South Bay Document Destruction.
