The City of Hawthorne Community Services Department hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Zela Davis Renovation Project on Zela Davis Park. 

Renovations include a new playground area, basketball courts, exercise area, picnic tables and bench area, ada restrooms with LED lighting, bike racks, and much more. The entire project will be funded by Measure A and several other props and grants, and it is expected to be completed by February 2025.
