City of Hawthorne's Veterans Affairs Commission celebrated their Inaugural Military Banner Recognition Ceremony on June 25th outside City Hall. 

 The banner recognition program was created to recognize Hawthorne's military men and women from the past and present. As of today, 16 banners were sponsored and are hung throughout Hawthorne and will be on display until Veteran's Day.
