The City of Hawthorne held their annual State of the City Address on August 22nd, this year at a local venue named The Lab. The event kicked off with a social hour where many dignitaries, including representatives from cities were in attendance. All the attendees then moved into the venue, where special guest and emcee former HCTV reporter, former US Senate candidate and widely known journalist Christina Pascucci introduced the guests of the night. A couple of videos showcased Hawthorne's economic achievements and development before Hawthorne Mayor Alex Vargas took the stage and addressed all the attendees.
