The City of Hawthorne held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the completion of its Imperial Highway Improvement Project. This project completes phase 1 and was funded through Measure R.

 The capital improvements were made on Imperial Hwy., 1-mile stretch, from Sundale Ave to Oxford Ave. This phase was the pavement rehab and cost $1.2M, and second phase is under design for signal synchronization and widening.
