The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation partnered with the City of Hawthorne to bring two new baseball fields to Jim Thorpe Park.

The Dodgers Dreamfields will support youth ages 5 to 12 and high school-aged baseball with many upgrades including upgraded dugouts, enlarged fields, 2 scoreboards, new infield mix, sod and much more.

The scope of work will be funded by the Kershaw Challenge, LA 84 and security benefits, and thanks to the partnership between the City of Hawthorne and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

The new state-of-the-art fields, being named Kershaw’s Challenge Fields will serve over 300 kids from Hawthorne and is expected to be completed by Winter 2025.
