The City of Hawthorne held its Spring Community Clean Up Day. 

Over 60 volunteers gathered at the Betty Ainsworth Sports Center - Parking Lot before heading out to community clean up; which are held twice a year. The goal of the day is to make the community a better and cleaner place for all. City Staff is grateful for all the volunteers who helped collect at least 15 tons of bulky items and trash. The next Community Clean Up Day will be held in October.
