On June 17, 2023 the City held a Father's Day Bike Ride, along with a Juneteenth Celebration.

The morning kicked off with a Bike Ride, lead by the Hawthorne Police Department, in honor of Father's Day! Dads were welcomed to bring their families and participate in a bike ride, which was the kickoff to a Juneteenth Celebration!

The Juneteenth event was held at Holly Park from 11AM until 3PM.

Jazz music was performed by J.W.B. Band. Festivities included, Face Painting,a kids aquatic touch tank, and plenty of food for everyone.

An excellent event that was well attended by residents from the community.
