Councilmember Alex Monteiro presented a proclamation on behalf of the City Council to Superintendent Dr. Helen E. Morgan for her 40 years of service to the Hawthorne School District and the community.

Dr. Morgan is retiring in June and Dr. Brian Mercarion will be appointed as the new Superintendent of the Hawthorne School District.
