City Council had two Proclamations during this meeting.

First, Proclamation for Army Veteran Daniel Lucero who retired from the Army this past March. He was acknowledge for his time serving our Country and all his contributions to the City of Hawthorne. 

Then, Council also had a proclamation to a representative of the American Lung Association regarding Turquoise Week. The association is celebrating its 120th year and 10th year of Turquoise Week; which brings awareness to lung cancer, and promotes awareness about screening and the availability of testing kits to promote positive health.
