Councilmember Katrina Manning presented Certificates of Appreciation to our Community Pastors in recognition of all their contributions to various programs such as helping the homeless, veterans outreach, food drives and praying for and supporting our council members.

Recipients will also receive a check for $540.00.

Certificates were presented to;

• Pastor John L. Jefferson of Del Aire Baptist Church

• Bishop John Richardson - New Journey Church of God in Christ, 30 years in the ministry

• Pastor Greg Guich with the Lawndale Ministerial Association. Pastor Greg frequently gives the invocation at  council meetings

• Not Present - Pastor Larry D. Weaver - Senior Pastor at the African Baptist Church since 1982
